About

Sunil Anklekar, Ph.D., is the Founder and Author of Pharma Fronts blogs, a radiopharmaceutical services company based in Concord, NC, bordering Charlotte. He is an experienced industry professional with three decades of experience in the chemical and radiopharmaceutical industry. He has worked for the last 16 years in the radiopharmaceutical sector. In his radiopharmaceutical career, he held leadership positions in the radiodiagnostics and radiotherapeutics areas and led teams for the manufacture of APIs and excipients.  He was a technical lead on technology transfer projects for the qualification of APIs, excipients and Drug Products for the partner CDMOs from Japan, Europe, and US.

In the chemical industry, Dr. Anklekar held senior roles in process development and manufacturing. He served as a Plant Manager for one of the largest chemical CDMOs in the U.S.

Dr. Anklekar received his Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry from NC State University, Raleigh, NC,  and was a post-doctoral research scientist at U. of Nebraska’s Epply Cancer Research Institute in Omaha, NE.

He offers consultation services to the financial community and the radiopharmaceutical industry, specializing in market analysis, manufacturing, and supply chains related to theranostic radioisotopes and drug products.

Dr. Anklekar is available for presentations on radiopharmaceutical topics to industry and academic audiences.
