Sunil Anklekar, Ph.D., is the Founder of Pharma Fronts, a radiopharmaceutical services company based in Concord, NC, bordering Charlotte, NC. He is an experienced industry professional with three decades of experience in the chemical and radiopharmaceutical industry. He has worked for the last 16 years in the radiopharmaceutical sector. In his radiopharmaceutical career, he held leadership positions in the radiodiagnostics and radiotherapeutics areas and led teams for the manufacture of APIs and excipients. He led several technology transfer projects for the qualification of APIs, excipients and drug products as a technical lead for the partner CDMOs from Japan, Europe, and US.
In the chemical industry, Dr. Anklekar worked on process development and served as a Plant Manager for one of the largest chemical CDMOs in the U.S. involving manufacture of ~ 200 tons/year organic chemical finished products.
Dr. Anklekar was trained as a synthetic organic chemist. His did his post-doctoral research in a cancer research institute.
He offers consultation services to the financial community and the radiopharmaceutical industry, specializing in market analysis, manufacturing, and supply chains related to theranostic radioisotopes and drug products.
He is available for presentations on radiopharmaceutical topics to industry and academic audiences.
